NEW STUDENTS

All new students will be screened the month prior to starting classes to ensure they are capable of taking marial arts instruction.

Start: First week of new month.

Uniform: Plain Black T-shirt & running pants. Official uniform & school T-shirt ordered after completing one (1) month of classes.

TUITION AND COSTS

All tuition is due monthly and is paid directly to the Marinette Rec Cntr at the Front Desk. Tuition cannot be paid on-line. Click on the "Courses" link in Menu to see monthly fees for each martial arts course.

Family discounts apply after the first two (2) full tuition students from the same family. Three or more (3+) students from the same family will receive a 40% discount for each additional member.

No credit for missed classes!

No Pro-rating

No Contracts

All other costs (equipment, apparel, uniforms, etc... ) are paid directly to the school.

UNIFORMS

All students must have a school T-shirt as part of their unform.
Tae Kwon Do students are also required to have a complete top and bottom martial arts uniform.
Only approved uniforms will be permitted.

PHYSICAL CONTACT

Tae Kwon Do and Eskrima involve direct physical contact. Students may experience soreness and bruising as part of training.

Tai Chi normally does not involve impact training.

EQUIPMENT / GEAR

Tae Kwon Do requires sparring gear.

Eskrima requires a variety of training weapons

Tai Chi has no equipment requirements

PROMOTION

Qualification for promotion testing is based on skill level and attendance.

Tae Kwon Do testing for color belt is held twice yearly (Spring and Fall).

Black Belt testing is held once yearly (Summer).

Eskrima rank testing is held on a performance basis as determined by the instructor.

Tai Chi has no rank testing.

Promotion Fees vary on the martial arts and level testing for. See the instructors for details.

WATCHING CLASSES

Typically, classes are held in a closed room environment. There is no in room seating available.

APPAREL

Additional schools T-shirts & Uniforms can be ordered thru the instructors.

CLASS CLOSURES

Martial Arts classes will be cancelled if Marinette Schools close due to weather.
